Part of a series of three paintings inspired by the Fen wetlands of Prophetstown State Park. Each painting depicts a native plant and animal species of the Fen. They are connected by ribbons made from Handel’s Water Music showing the interconnections of the living things that make up an ecosystem. This painting shows the Hognosed Snake and Yellow Jewell Weed.
